I really like the weekly photos being posted into one post between each month.  It makes life a little bit easier for me.  I will probably continue to post M’s weekly photos like this for a while.

This week I purchased a new lotion called Manuka Biotic for M’s skin as it was recommended to me by three different people.

This week M has started lifting off his belly and trying to get on top of his knees.  He has also started to venture around a room.  E and C don’t seem to like M’s newest ability of getting around as it puts their toys in jeopardy of being taken.

The lotion I purchased has made a difference.  It has the same effect as the mild steroids!  Unfortunately, it is expensive and we go through one tube of the lotion a fortnight.  The lotion has a strong smell too.  So we have been putting the lotion given to us by the doctor that is fragrance free on top of it.

C has slept a LOT better this week.  We have discovered that the fan was waking him up every time it made a strange noise!  C also went to the doctors this week about his skin.  The doctor gave him a couple of prescriptions and his skin has improved greatly!  He no longer scratches his skin at every opportunity.  So between turning the fan off at night and the medicine for C’s skin, he has started only waking about 3 or 4 times at night with a 4 hour stretch.

C can sit for a few minutes at a time.  He really enjoys rolling all over the place.

He also likes to reach into containers and pull out toys.

Here is E’s 32 Week Old Photo.

Sorry, I didn’t put much effort into this weeks photo as we went hiking the second after we took the photo.  More on that in a later post!

32 Weeks Old (1)

It’s too scary for you Mr Lamb.  I’ll protect you.

Since the summer vacation is over, children in New Zealand are back in school, which means baby activities are back up and running again!  Thank goodness!  I was going a bit stir crazy without them.  We attend Mainly Music on Tuesday mornings and baby time at the library on both Wednesday and Thursday mornings.  E really enjoys both.  Every time a song is sung, E signs along with “aaaaahhhh” or “eeeeeeehhhh.”

E is officially a sitter now.  He can sit on his own for as long as he likes.  When he doesn’t want to sit any more he just leans to the side and falls onto his belly.

E moves forward while laying on his belly.  It’s not a crawl at all.  It’s more like an “army scoot.”  It’s really cute to watch him at it.

This week E signed the word for milk to me and he really wanted milk.  Isn’t that awesome?
